From billion-dollar test efforts to agile startups, his work has supported national defense, satellite systems, and space innovation. He’s driven by one principle: build strong teams and never lose sight of the people behind the technology.

Mike is a decorated Vietnam combat veteran with 40 years of experience in Space and Missile Defense, including F-15 Flight Test and serving as Director of F-16 International Finance. He served as Mission Director for the Strategic Defense Organization Special Operations prior to retirement as a USAF Colonel. Former VP at Orbital Sciences and Associate with Lawrence Livermore National Labs. Founded Assured Space Access in 2001. M.S. Industrial Engineering, B.S. Mechanical Engineering.

A recognized leader in RF engineering and phased array systems, Dr. Sturdivant blends deep technical expertise with a passion for innovation. With over 30 years of experience, he has driven breakthroughs in AESA radar and satellite communications, authored five textbooks, and holds multiple patents. As CTO, he brings vision, precision, and an unwavering drive to push boundaries.

A retired USAF Lieutenant Colonel and certified Space Program Manager, he led major programs including Milstar, Atlas V, and SBIRS.
